Tai Chi Ch'uan:  

Yang Style Tai Chi Ch'uan

Yang Family style of Tai Chi emphasizes relaxation and slow, graceful, flowing movement. It is an excellent art for the practice of moving meditation, total-body exercise, and as an effective form of self-defense. 

Ongoing classes in Tai Chi Ch'uan are taught by James Todd. James has been studying Tai Chi Ch’uan since 1983, and received his teaching certification from Grand Master William C.C. Chen in 1988. He teaches the Yang Family style of Tai Chi, which emphasizes relaxation and slow, graceful, flowing movement. It is excellent practice as a form of moving meditation, exercise, and as an effective martial art.


Time: Saturdays, 12pm-1pm


Cost: $50 /month ($25 /month for current IMAC students)
